There is no magic list of medical conditions that may cause a disability. Technically, any condition that is severe enough to interfere with a person’s ability to work can be disabling. For example, cancer or HIV/AIDS or any other life-threatening condition are not automatically disabling conditions, nor are common conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes automatic losers.
Almost any condition, if severe enough, can be disabling, what is important is how the medical condition affects your ability to work a full-time 40-hour job.
Here are some medical problems: Arthritis, Asthma, Heart attack, Seizures, Cancer, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Anxiety disorders, Diabetes, Chronic pain, Sickle cell disease, Degenerative disc disease, Parkinson’s disease, Lung disease , Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Schizophrenia, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Cystic Fibrosis, Hepatitis C, Congestive Heart Failure, Back Injuries, Soft Tissue Injuries, Lupus, Neuropathy, Paralysis, AIDS/HIV, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, among others.
We understand the physical and mental disabilities that our clients face. Our job is to make the entire process as comfortable, simple and efficient as possible.
